Manager: National Business Sales – Fleet Motor Industry – JHB North – AA/EE
Reporting to the Executive Global Sales in Johannesburg, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for managing sales targets and relationships amongst Fleets, Businesses, Dealer Groups, Insurance partners, Vehicle Finance Houses and work closely with the Heads of Regions, National Account Managers and Head Office departments to maximise Our Client’s market share overall. The role also expects the candidate to identify new markets segments and strategies to achieve success.
Job Purpose
Define and drive the implementation of sales initiatives for Our Client Fleet business to maximise sales growth. Positively influence the distribution network to achieve the business objectives through a formulated and effective sales plan. Assist and guide the Regional offices with their sales roll out and servicing the national group accounts. Build sustainable relationships within above markets and maximize growth opportunities.
Experience & Qualification
A business qualification such as Diploma / Degree in Financial Management or similar management development programme would be advantageous.
Must have 10 years’ experience in the Fleet motor industry
Minimum 10 years Management experience.
Extensive experience in managing and engaging with Executives, senior managers, Managers and staff.
Ability to deal with customers at operational and Executive level
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strategic, intellectual and analytical abilities.
Result and action orientated.
High degree of emotional intelligence with strong leadership skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Identify new market segments and strategies to achieve success.
Define and drive the implementation of sales initiatives for our clients Fleet business to maximise sales growth.
Positively influence the distribution network to achieve the business objectives through a formulated and effective sales plan.
Assist and guide the Regional offices with their sales roll out and servicing the national group accounts.
Build sustainable relationships with national strategic partnership in the Fleet market, identify and maximize growth opportunities.
Drive strategy to further penetrate fleet opportunities through the dealer, insurance and vehicle finance channels.
Managing targets, performance management, assist with putting together optimal commission structures and customer service.
Leadership and development of business sales staff on a national basis.
The ability to analyze the current and future needs of the business and to formulate sales strategies accordingly.
