HR Business Partner – Automotive Industry – Port Elizabeth

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Must have a tertiary HR qualification
Must have at least 10 years+ operational HR experience
Must have worked in a large company – 1200 staff
Experience in working in the Road Freight/Transport industry
Key Requirements
A generalist who has sound commercial acumen – self-motivated and can use own initiative
Exceptional communicator, both written & verbally
Be prepared to travel locally and be away from home from time to time
Knows and understands the Road Freight Bargaining Council Agreement

Job purpose
Manage Recruitment and selection
Manage the exit interview process and retention of staff
Guide the business (in conjunction with Group IR) on IR matters
Train line management on day to day management of staff
Identify skills/ gaps and advises management of solutions
Setting up of JD’s and align KPIs for job description purposes
Manage the Salary benchmarking process
Manage promotions and transfers
Compile training needs and ensuring the training is done by arranging via Group Training
